We are organising the cycling tops, which we haven't had before.
One of the past riders has designed an emblem for us which we are tickled pink with & this will definitely be on the shirt. Another rider has chosen the colours and another rider has given us the basis of our ride motto plus and an idea for the map.
New riders are coming in weekly with our latest enquirer wanting to do the whole trip which will bring us up to 5 riders doing the complete 14,000 + kms.
An equipment list has been developed with some major purchases and updates required. This trip we will have our own Satellite phone where other years we have rented. We plan on buying a generator to assist with bush camps & morning/afternoon teas. We are trying to source some safety road signs & car signs for this trip as well.

Day 1
March 23rd 2013
Location: Melbourne to Euroa (Means joyful in
Aboriginal) 125kms
Route:
All riders
meet at Southern Cross Station at 0630 hours, catch the train to Craigieburn
and alight at Station.
Ride from
the Craigieburn Station following road signs to the Hume Hwy. Head north along
the Hume Hwy towards Wangaratta.
Morning Tea
at 25 kms at Service Centre. Lunch at 65 kms Service Centre
Take
turnoff to Euroa. Follow signs to Caravan Park- on R) just before the bridge.

Day 2
March 24th
Location:
Euroa to Chiltern 130 kms
Route:
Euroa to
Hume Hwy take Wodonga/Albury turnoff & head north.
Morning tea
at Benalla Rose Gardens (off Hwy). Lunch at McDonalds at Wangaratta.
Turn off
Hume Hwy to Chiltern then follow signs to caravan park.

Day 3
March 25th
Location:
Chiltern to Culcairn 90 kms
Route:
Take road to
Howlong then turn R) on the Albury Rd.
2kms out of
Howlong do a L) turn on Walbundrie/Howlong Rd to Walbundrie. See map attached.
Then take
Culcairn turnoff & follow signs to CP
Morning tea at
Walbundrie General Store.

Day 4
March 26th
Location: Culcairn to Wagga Wagga 80 kms
Route:
Over
railway line head to Morven.
Then
L) turn to Cookardinia & Mangoplah.
Then
onto Wagga.
Go
into city centre & follow signs to city beach. Caravan Park is located on
the city beach.
